If you sending to official wallet from nem.io (nanowallet or mobile wallet) message is not required. Leave it blank.

You only need to put a message when sending funds from your wallet to an exchange. Because the exchange needs to know the payment came from your wallet and credit the sum to your exchange account, and it does that by checking your message input in that transaction.

The only thing you need is send from official wallet nem.io. Other thing is put message while exchanging.

It is only applicable for the NEM wallet. just simply click the Send option, after typing the message simply click on that. but sometimes, it does not work, not to worry about it, Walt for sometime, it is automatically started working, or otherwise, you may choose the alternative from admin edit: spam
