Lookin good.
I guess your building an installer and then wrapping NCC is some browser component ?

yup, but no installer, the package is called nodewebkit, and it's a server (node)/client (chrome) in one package, so I can download, install, update files, without the need to packaging it. since it's made on top of webkit, the site will always have the latest technology, so no need to worry about users trying to access it using IE6 for example :stuck_out_tongue:

so this is pretty much plug and play wallet.. one dowload, no install, click play.. bobs your uncle.. is it that simple? :)

ps. ready for testing when ever you are. :)

Sorry we haven't done that yet. I'll try to remember to add it as part of the beta build.

Btw, Nice work!

Also looking forward to testing it.

Yes, me too. When do you think we can go for a test?

I'm wondering if this project started because people are unaware that the client has been auto-updating since the second release.

Still awesome though.

NCC is auto updating? I didn't know that

Yes, webstart facilitates auto-updates which was one of the reasons it was chosen for distribution. I guess it wasn't communicated since with the heavy development during alpha it might have caused trouble.

Ok, I'm still using the standalone version…

Thank you so much Jaguar0625

First alpha version was pushed to the repo https://github.com/pocesar/node-nem-wallet but the building process is a bit awkward right now (because I have globally installed modules), but anyone is free to wander around the code

Thank you!

Can the version inside version.txt match the nis-ncc file instead of the webstart file?

It doesn't, pocesar?

it's current as 0.4.30-BETA, so I'm stripping out the -BETA to get 0.4.30 so I can mount the nis-ncc filename.

side question, how does NEM testnet work? does it need separate software too?
