@Icharles123: You have to specify the private key to use for booting in the config.properties file in the NIS folder. You can specify any 64 hex-character sequence as private key for booting. So the entries in config.properties could look like this:

nis.bootName = Icharles123

I edit the pubkey but failed.
So I had to access the vps through a vnc.
