Help with PC Wallet

Hello. About 1 or 2 months ago I downloaded the Nem wallet (Windows). I could sign in but I could not get it to work. I even tried and made a 2nd wallet. I think this was toatlly a problem with my internet connection that day. Since then I was succesful downloading the Android wallet and made a totally independent account. It worked great and have quite a few XEM coins. Can anyone guide me how to get my NEM android wallet to work on my PC ? do i have to / can i delete the account i set up on the PC - it is a different user name and email ? Thank you.

It is not necessary to delete the NanoWallet on the PC. NanoWallet supports multiple wallets and accounts.

How to use the same address from mobile phone with NanoWallet is as follows.

  1. Copy the private key from the mobile phone. (It should have been backed up normally.)

  2. Start NanoWallet and create a new account. Please select private key wallet to create.

  3. Please set a new wallet name / password. Then enter the secret key.

The mobile phone’s address will now be available at NanoWallet.

Please handle with private key care.
If others are known, all funds will be lost.

Thank you.

Thank you for such a quick reply.
When i downloaded the Android Nano Wallet
I have 3 copies of all my private keys, but none for this
(as i do not recall it being revealed like in the Windows version)
I remember being suprised how easy fast and automatic it all went
If it was backed up automatically, how would i find it in an Android Motorolo G4
I’m actually a bit nervous now if something happens to my phone

I am sorry, basically I can not speak English, so I rely on translation software. Please understand that we may make completely different answers.

If you create a wallet, the private key will not be backed up automatically.
It will be a manual backup.
This backup should be done before creating a wallet and making a deposit.

Please do the backup method from “Other” -> “Export Account”. If there are multiple accounts, please back them up.

How to import into NanoWallet is as described above.

Thank you.

It was not backed up automatically.
Make sure to backup your mobile wallet.

Thanks. Still cant get the desktop PC wallet working, but at least I backed up the private key (phew) Not sure how i missed that. Everytime I try to import the wallet from my Android using the private key IT AUTOMATICALL SWITCHES TO THE ACCOUNT AND PRIVATE KEY OF THE WALLET I SET UP ON THE PC which never worked right ???/
