I'm guessing it was primarily a Chinese event.
How did it go?

The conference was a good networking platform and to introduce Crypto 2.0 was timely as many people are still having their heads buried in the sand and believe that Bitcoin is the future.
As all of us here should know, NEM is not a coin but is a platform and ecosystem. Hence it is new and people are still finding it hard to grasp the concept of NEM or Nxt. Many vaguely heard of Nxt but not NEM.
Obviously, it attracted a bit of interest.
The crowd was about 150 to 200 of us, mainly Chinese but most of the speakers are from all over. Not too big for networking. My biggest disappointment though was that I was the second last speaker (in fact the last as the last one disappeared) and was only attended by about 20+ people. Most have left by then after 2 long days.
Though it would have been much better if the crowd was bigger, but it is still good that we are able to let people know of our existence. Socialising and networking made up for the absence of audience towards the end.
At least my objective is met, i.e., letting as many in the crowd know of the existence of NEM.
My recommendation still is to attend as many as we can to spread the word. There is one coming up in Korea I believe but I am not sure if it will go ahead although it is scheduled to go on.
Very good. Loks like you have done your best and circumstances were not on your side on this occasion. Early days man, Rome wasnt built in a day.
I say to students, applying for a particular job numerous times is better than applying to numerous jobs only once.
Perseverance…is the name of the game.

thats how i got one of my first jobs lol it was a pub in my local town.. i was only 16 so not even legal to work in a pub.. but i went in and asked for the owner.. "hes not in, come back xday" went back "xday" "hes not in" "come back".. this went on for a month.. after the 15th time going in i asked the owner himself by chance.. he asked was i the kid that kept coming asking for a job... i was told come in the next day at 10.. i went in at 10pm.. he meant 10am.. haha still got the job when he wasnt even looking for staff haha persistence pays off no matter what you do or what your trying to do.. determination can get you very far in life, i know that first hand ;) im sure its no different in any other line of work.
+1 on perseverance. Just keep on going. Even if you fail 10 times, if there is a logical way in your mind that you might succeed the 11th, just go ahead.
