Number of stakeholders

I am wondering why there are only 1300 stakeholders registered till now…
Thats not even close to 4000 and the 1300 already include people who have 2 stakes.

Thats not really what I was expecting… :-/

Claiming a second stake for your spouse or friend isn't the same as two stakes, unless you meant the people who bought on the AE.

As for the number - it was equal opportunity and not equal outcome for 3000 stakeholders.  The purpose behind the distribution was not a planetary relief scheme but an anti-Whale mechanism and it worked well enough.

4000 was a number that was mentioned back in Jan. When regitration closed we had a little under 3000.
775 went on the AE where some have been split into <1 and others have been collected into 2 or more stakes for one person.
Overall 1300 (it's not over yet) would still be an amazing number. No other coin that wasn't distributed via PoW had a similar amount of stakeholders.  Nother other crypto went to such lengths to ensure that it's actually people and not just btt-accounts.

+1.. i dont think any crypto will in the future either.. i dont think anyone could have know the amount of work it caused and now that its known i doubt anyone will want to do it again.. and thats if they can even pull it off.. i think this could be a one time thing that wont work again.

No, I beg to differ. In future they will break this easily because NEM AE will provide the necessary platform for them to do so easily. ;)

I did not try to critisize patmast3r or anybody. I know that you guys are working hard and you are doing a great job!

Im just wondering why its now 1300 and not "a little under 3000". Even without the sockstakes it should be close to 3000 and not 1300. And yes, I know, its not over yet. But its over pretty soon…

the number of stake holders on AE went down due to people dumping to whales, then there is unclaimed.. sock stakes.. a few different reasons.. it was expected i think.

I believe it will end up probably around 1600. Explanation:

about 850-1000 unclaimed and sock (including the earlier 155 socks).
775 AE stakes will probably become 300 (because many dumped and fewer bought up more than 2 stakes each)

So total "missing" is about 1400.

I think it's just the bear economy.  Even Bitcointalk feels like a ghost town compared to what it used to be like last winter & spring.

A lot of people I used to PM with do not log in anymore.  :frowning:

A short number from NXT AE Reedeem process:

15 Persons own 163,8 Stakes (they stand on registered list)

5. 12,3
6. 12,0
7. 10,0
8. 10,0

10. 8,8
11. 5,7
12. 5,5

And on NXT AE there are 7 more persons who own together 100 Stakes at the moment.

about 850-1000 unclaimed and sock (including the earlier 155 socks).

This is what makes me wonder. 155 socks, but 850-1000 unclaimed stakes. Why?

IIRC there were ~270 socks. Wonder where that 155 comes from.

Where are you getting those numbers from. Give us addresses or at least tx-ids.
From what I see in the db (and that is for all that are on the registered list) you're pulling numbers out of your hat.

We have 347 incoming transactions that sum up to an amount of 468.9 stakes.
Without further analsysis i doubt that those are only 15 people. Why would 15 people go through the work of making over 300 tx if there are no limits on how many stakes you can send per tx ?

No, the 15people have only 18tx! the rest of the tx's are under 3 Stakes

BEM, are you looking at nxt reporting? that site hasnt been updated in weeks if not months…

Oh...well that makes much more sense...sounds about right.
Don't think it's a big problem though. It's just more appearant because it doesn't happen "hidden" in an exchange.
