Password without privatekey

Hello! I have a similar situation.

I lost the private key, but I have an old test client through which I received this key, and wallet. Only NEM-client is not alive, can not enter, because he is from the test network. There is a possibility to somehow get out of it the private key to my account?

sorry for my English

do you still have the wallet file and the password for the wallet?

Yes, I have the wallet file and the password from him.
But to clarify, this wallet was made to gain access to the private key for the first time. It was created in a test network.

(nem-client-0.4.30-BETA)

if the old client was only used to create a private key then it was saved nowhere in the wallet.
You never imported the private key into a wallet?

Have a nice day!

I imported the key into the wallet to check, but can’t say for sure what is in this purse. It is technically possible to go to this old wallet?

Best regards!

what key did you import?

After the launch of the project I imported the private key into the wallet to check.

Now I lost the private key, but I have an old client ((nem-client-0.4.30-BETA)) through which I received this key, and wallet.

I want to know is it possible to open this wallet now?

If you still have the wallet and the password it should be possible

But I Can’t log in, getting ERROR 121.

On your advice I Move the old wallet file somewhere safe. Then create a new wallet with the same name. Remove the .wlt file and copy the old wallet file back. Then try again.

It says : adress book password incorrect

Then the password is not correct i guess

Sorry, I was wrong.

ERROR 124

NIS: ADDRESS BOOK PASSWORD INCORRECT

you can send me the wallet in a private message if you want…
