All I can say is the installer certainly isn't working for me, and the standalone is a complete faff. I now have to have three C:\ windows open and have to refer back to a link in the guide to get any NCC page to open and it's saying it's at block 11926.... Not received anything yet...

Does the NEM monitor start for you? If so, what status is it showing for NCC and NIS?

monitor starts and it's been 'running' for nearly 36 hours now...still saying (local node not booted)
Every time I try the NCC it tries this address:
http://127.0.0.1:8989/ncc/web/index.html
and says the page can't be displayed...
None of the other releases have done anything like this for me...
@wirralnick: so if monitor starts there must be logs available. There must be a nem folder (on windows in c:\users<your user> and on linux in the home folder). Inside that folder there are subfolders named mon, ncc and nis and within those folders the folder logs contains the logs. Could you zip those logs and pm them to me?
I may have worked out the problem…
"Enable enhanced protected mode" was checked to solve a problem with IE last week…
I've unchecked it and the NCC opened from the icon…
Loading blocks from db, at block: 1601
is what it's showing now…
