Private transactions

I am new to NEM and I am trying to understand the coin. I would like to know if there is some way to send private transactions, like in Dash and Monero.

Hello, the are no private transactions on NEM.
You can send private (encrypted) message but sender, reciever and amount of transaction is transparent

Thanks for clarifying me. I don’t like private transactions. Cryptocurrencies are already shady enough without them. If we all have to live on the same planet, I believe some transparency is necessary.
