Wallet can not be open with right PW and wallet file that back up before

dear all . i back up my wallet before , but when i reload my backup file in new PC , i found the error , i know many guys asked same question but seem no one can solved.

the error is “NIS: ADDRESS BOOK COULD NOT BE READ” even with right password, how can i solve this issue , thanks all.

You are missing your address book file. from here I was trouble shooting and lost my address book file

you can create a new account with identical name and password, then put that newly create addressbook file in place of where your old one is missing.

make sure to backup your wlt file just in case.

If you still know your private key you can import by it ,
you don’t have to have a wallet file then
