Yes, CfB had a stake, but gave it up.

He wants to focus on NXT, I guess, which is fine. I don't think he needs the money.

NEM isn't an investment, after all, but rather a community. If you are already leading something else, it doesn't make sense to join another community.

is he the first and only person to voluntarily give up his stake or request a refund just because they dont want their stake?

I know but they are all sock puppet refunds. Forced. I'm wondering is cfb the first person to have fair claim to a stake and turn it down?

my understanding is that he merely posted he was interested in the NEM project when the stake list was being made. he never actually wanted the stake. he simply stated he was interested, meaning he would be watching the project. bit of a miss-communication.
