About Privacy in NEM

I like cryptos because they:

-Are private
-Are anonymous

But why all transactions are public here in NEM?

Where is privacy? :frowning:

This is Poloniex account:
http://chain.nem.ninja/#/search/NBZMQO-7ZPBYN-BDUR7F-75MAKA-2S3DHD-CIFG77-5N3D

Some pleople can demand those guys (or you or me) by the total ammount of their account. They cannot get any privacy protection :frowning:

Can anyone help me to understand the NEM enviroment and why all is public?

Most crypto currencies have public accounts and transactions, that is normal.
If you buy some coins at an exchange you can transfer the coins to any account and nobody will know who is the owner of the account. So even though accounts and transactions are indeed public, it is hard to associate an account with a certain human being.
