Account does not have a public key yet

Hi everyone, I looked in symbol block explorer for my address and I got “This account does not have a public key yet”. Does anyone knows what is means? Also my symbol wallet is showing 0 balance even though the mnemonic words were imported successfully.

Any idea and advise will be appreciated.

NEM and Symbol require at least one Tx to be issued to generate a public key. (It will not show up).
That is a specification.

Try sending 0XYM to your own address.
Note: There will be a fee.

Looks like you were not included to distribution or you have wrong mnemonic. What’s your NEM address?

Some chains, I’m sure NEM as well, require at least one transaction before they show up on the explorer.
