I am not able to see my account balance in my brain wallet. It says node offline.
Should I report for stolen or it is some tech issue?

If your password is not very strong (> 40 characters) in your place I will change to the simple wallet.
I think the only way is to create simple wallet (of course don’t forget about backup) and transfer all XEM to it.
If you have over 10000 XEM and you are harvester it’s a more complicated because in this way you must again collect your vested balance.
I don’t want to take any chances. Can you help me in moving to a simple wallet?

When you are sending to your wallet (not exchange) message is not required. You can leave message empty and choose unencrypted.
Please be sure you have backup wlt file and password for simple wallet where you are sending.
First you can send small amount just to check all you do corectly.
I have moved to a simple wallet. The transaction was pretty quick and confirmed.
