NCF Voting has concluded in the Affirmative

For the last 3 weeks the brifs.co team has been had only one area of focus — getting the word out about our NCF proposal vote. This brought us around the world and are honored by all of the support and encouragement we have received from NEM's global community.

From Japan to Venezuela, from New Zealand to France, and seemingly everywhere in between, NEMbers came together to vote for a small team with huge goals.

The feeling is incredible. There were ups and downs. There were moments when it looked like our chances were slim to none. There were moments when we were sure that the next wave of outreach was going to be the one that resonated with folks and would clinch the vote for us.

In the end, our proposal gained YES votes from 469 NEM Nano Wallets with a combined total of roughly 308.2M XEM behind it. That’s just incredible. At the time of writing, XEM is trading at roughly $0.17, which means that approximately $52.4M USD on XEM voted in support of our project.

The amount of gratitude the team and I feel is indescribable. Although it does not begin to express our profound gratitude, thank you all again so very very much!

Our goal now is to do everything in our power to make this an achievement that benefits all NEMbers. We will fight to make this winning vote a victory for us all.

In Our Headlights

As you might imagine, the NCF campaign took a lot out of us. We were working 'round the clock doing everything in our power to make the case for our project and ask for votes. The number one way our team celebrated the outcome of our vote was neither steak dinners, nor champagne — We celebrated with sleep.

We promised ourselves we would take the weekend off, but by Sunday (today) we were back at it again.

On the agenda is a bit of housekeeping: After publishing this update, and releasing final results of our Community Bounty Program (details here), we have begun formulating a plan of attack on our first group of milestones:

Ahead of Estimates

For those of you who have planned software projects, or any projects for that matter, you know that even the longest estimates are often exceeded. One rule of thumb is to add up all the time you think a project should take and double it. Take a a good look at that timeframe, and double it again.

We anticipated being able to complete Milestone 1 by the beginning of next month and so we added a month to that as a buffer. Now that we are in the driver’s seat and actually plugging away our milestones, there is a good chance that we’ll be able to beat our best estimates by as much as 2 weeks.

There are some factors out of our control that could push back our revised estimates, but chould we be able to complete Milestone 1 early. This could potentially give us a wider safety net and compound our ability to ship-early on a go-forward basis. Now, this almost never happens, and things could change along the way, but as it appears now, we are well positioned to complete our objectives on time and that is a great position to be in.

Thank you all again,
The brifs.co Team

Since I have been watching this project I am noticing Gift cards everywhere.
