It has been a harsh few weeks to digest the drama. I invite all the candidates who are running for the upcoming elections provide their Point of view. The community would really want the following things to be implemented under your tenure if you’re elected. Kindly provide your input on the following so that the things that have been happening would not happen in the future.
1 - Hire a reputable external Auditing agency to examine the NEM foundation’s finances and operations for every region.
2 - Make the By-laws of the foundation public to the community.
3 - Introduce a procedure for the removal of a council member in the laws if he/she is found to be hostile/cheating to NEM or it’s interests in any possible way.
4- Prepare a suitable timeline to implement catapult for public chain by co-operating with NEM core developers.
5 - Bring on-board new developers from all over the world. Each and every chapter should focus on bringing new-developers from their region. Until now only the European region has been successful according to the devs.
6- Make it mandatory for the local chapters to provide a monthly report of their work.
7 - Help incentivize the people who are contributing via Videos, Tutorials, write-ups, etc. as early as possible. Probably hire a person/s to look after all the bounties so that they can be closed fortnightly/monthly.
8 - Create a marketing strategy for NEM Catapult to be used as a private chain for businesses. Something like Hyperledger is doing. And help businesses also use the public chain wherever it is possible.
9 - Host Annual conventions at NEM foundation centres to bring new businesses, investors and developers just like Ripple/others are doing.

10 - Should there be a cooling-off period in the contracts for senior foundation employees if they want to leave and start their own projects with a fork in the public chain ?
Personally I don’t care about the finances. It’s not our money. We’re not paying them. It was allocated to them.
All that counts is results and progress.
2-9 all make perfect sense in that aspect.
