I’ll be frank. You did what you should have done. Its just the installer sucks. It wasn’t your fault. And this is exactly why we need one click mobile apps for Android and iOS so people go to the store, download and have everything ready.
The good news is I can still tell you what to do.
You have two choices.
Just use NCC to connect to a remote host and keep a wallet file on your computer, or
Make a pass phrase wallet with Lightwallet.
Both are actually very easy, so that is good.

Since your NCC already works, all you need to do is the making a new IP part of the video.

At some point Lightwallet will probably fully replace the Installer because the installer has so many problems. A better version of Lightwallet is currently being developed. If you make a pass phrase, please make a very good one.
