I opted in via Nem Desktop Wallet a few months ago and I received a 24 words mnemonic and my address. Today I downloaded the Symbol Desktop Wallet and I am trying to import my account. When I enter my mnemonic, I am given a list of 10 addresses, all with 0 balance and none of them is the address I received when I opted in. Any ideas what I am doing wrong here?

You had a balance at snapshot block so you will be able to claim post-launch.
The process will be done using the NEM desktop wallet and will start in a few weeks. You will have 6 years to claim tokens.
Please follow our social media or just check again in a few weeks. Make sure that you will not lost your NEM address private key because without access to address you will be not able claim XYM tokens.
That’s weird because I followed the steps to the end as far as I can remember. I’m seeing various people reporting a similar issue. Anyway, it’s great that we will be able to do the post launch opt-in. Thanks for clarifying!
