Hi!
I'm excited for the launch! Great job guys!
—
I am writing because I downloaded the latest wallet, I can get both NIS running and NCC running, except beside
NIS, it says NIS is running (local node not loaded), though that doesn't seem to be an issue. (I can't run the wallet in Opera, or Chrome, only Explorer works).
My password I set up a few months ago doesn't seem to be working, or at least it gives me the following:
ERROR 121
The address book file does not exist.
I was able to create a new wallet for testing, and imported the private key from my original wallet account that I've been using forever (the one I can't access).
I sent in the token months ago, I made the final list, so everything's good there.
I can get in and out of the second wallet I made, but not the first one, which is the most important.
Can anyone help?
Cheers.

Old wallets aren't working anymore. You can't use wallets from the testnet for the mainnet anyway so just drop that wallet and import your private key into the "real" client after launch.

Awesome, thank you. I was scared I lost everything.
Good luck with the launch everyone!

how do i extracat the priv key of my old wallet , i just have the file + password ?
log into the wallet and use the menu on the left side: “View Account Details”
thx but the point is i am not able to login to my old wallet, it says : NIS: ADDRESS BOOK DOES NOT EXIST
the wallet is from 2014
Move the old wallet file somewhere safe. Then create a new wallet with the same name. Remove the .wlt file and copy the old wallet file back. Then try again.
now it says : adress book password incorrect
ok just got it, i thought i just have the password but indeed it was the private key already prolly the same back then.
thanks anyway
