I click on NanoWallet and it tells me it does not know what app to use to open it. It lists the file Type as unknown.
In the universal download when I click on Start.html it goes to a blank page.
Sorry if I did not find a post which already answered this, but I read quite a few.
Are you sure you extract/unzip archive before running?
Which universal client have you any error in chrome/firefox developer console?
I right click on the .zip file in my download folder and then click on "Extract toā¦"
I title a folder NEM Wallet on my desktop and it then populates it.
I enter that folder and click on the folder it created "NanoWallet-2.0.14-linux64"
I enter that folder and click on "NanoWallet"
The following blank page comes up:

(is it safe to publish that?)

From there I do not know what to do.
Iām not sure what you mean by universal client.
Do you mean?:

Iām not sure what the developer console is?

Does any of that help figure things out?

Suggest that you run start.html without extracting. Could you check that again? App should have access to these files and it should not be opened from .cache catalog.

I clicked on the download.
Up cam the folder with Start.html in it.
I clicked on Start.html.
Blank page came up.

It seems to me something might be missing in firefox. Is there something I need enabled or disabled?
Is the screen still white if tou press start.html on Drag & Drop on FireFox screen or start.html from FireFox and press Open?
Thanks, that lead me down the road to success. I opened the file through Firefox. It still does not make sense why it had to be that way, but I can now use NanoWallet. Thanks pawelm for all you time and thanks mizunashi for your suggestion.
