Cant send Litecoins to my nanowallet

Hey there,

like the title says, i cant send my Litecoins to my Nano-wallet.
Im from Europe, Italy, a complete noob at crypto-currencys and trying for hours to get XEM.

I got the nanowallet now from your page, and want to get XEM there.
I thought the easiest way is to buy bitcoin, litecoins etc. and send it to my wallet to change them, since i found no site where i could instantly buy XEM.
On Bitpanda.com i finaly found a site where they accept neteller as a payment-option, so i bought litecoins there.
Now i want to send them to my NEM-wallet, but they always say the adress is wrong and it doenst work.
I am using the adresse under the profile section in the wallet.

I am thankfull for any help. regards

You can’t sent Liteoin/Bitcoin to nanowallet. It supports only XEM
If you want buy instatly XEM for USD you can use https://changelly.com/ or https://shapeshift.io/#/coins if you have bitcoins or other cryptocurrency.
Of course you can also use standard exchange (probably less fees) like https://bittrex.com/ or https://poloniex.com/ where you can first buy or deposit bitcoin and next exchange bitcoin to XEM.

Hello,

thank you pawlelm for your quick answer.
Dont understand why there is a option under settings then to transform BC and other cryptos in XEM then, but ok.

One more question: once i got my XEM in my nano-wallet, how do i can sell them. send them back to bittrex etc=

ty and regards

Could you show this option? Please give a print screen. I tell you why is this option.

When you want sell you must send to bittrex or other exchange. You can send from nanowallet to bittrex xem and next exchange to other cryptocurrency or fiat. Bittrex or other exchange has special address to deposit xem.

I suggest setting up an account on Bittrex or Poloniex.
Send your litecoins there. Then you can trade your Litecoins for BTC, and buy XEM with BTC.

When sending XEM from Nanowallet back to the exchange site. Make sure to follow all their instructions. They will have you include a message in the transaction.

You are probably referring to the Changelly module. Yes you can also send Litecoin to Changelly, and they will convert your Litecoins to XEM. This is not done via Nanowallet, it is done via Changelly.

i just downloaded mobile app but i could not see private key and also how to buy XEM from litecoin

@yadav @Saul already described above that if you want xem for litecoin you should use exchange (for example bittrex) or instant transaction service like changelly.

You have access to private key in mobile wallet if you have already created wallet when you click:

  1. More button in bottom right corner (three dots)
  2. Export account
  3. You could use wallet password or set another.
It will be created qr code protected with your password.
If you want show raw data private key please click “show private key” button

Keep your private key in safe please (for example paper backup in couple places) and never share or send to anyone!

HEy there,

tanks for the answers.
I have moved more XEM now. I payed the 0,15XEm for enterin the harvesting, status still inactive.

I read now that i have to have atleast 10.000XEM on my account to harverst. I only have about 5.500 XEM.

Do i have to pay again the 0,15 when i have enough XEM?

There is no need to activate again when you have 10000 xem vested balance.
You must know that it’s required 10000xem vested balance (balance must be vested). About that what it’s vested balance you can read here : http://nem-tools.com/#/calculator. It will also calculate when you will have 10k vested.

89f0ae1d6018 is my transaction id for my exchange of litecoin for XEM but it did not arrive at my wallet yet. what else i have to do to get it.
thanks in advance.

Why are you under the impression that the nanowallet converts litecoin to XEM?

If you used the Changelly module in Nanowallet, then the issue is with Changelly, not NEM or the Nanowallet. If you used the Changelly module, you need to contact Changelly with your litecoin transaction hash.
