Hello! I bought some XEM on Poloniex. Everything went OK until I tried sending it to my wallet. I got the error message “Complete: Error”. Did I send it to the wrong address? It wasn’t much, so it’s alright. I need to know which address you actually send the currency to. Do you send it to the “Address” or do you send it to your “Public key”?
Please let me know as soon as possible as I’m excited about this project and don’t want to make any stupid mistakes anymore.

The recipient of a transfer transaction is a NEM address.
If I interpret your words correctly the error occured when you tried to withdraw from Poloniex.
Therefore it is probably the best to ask them for help.
Do I send the XEM to the Public key or the Address? The address looks something like this: “DHJFF-HFDHH-HDFHD-JRJJF-HEHFH-HEFH” while the public key looks something like this: “f8hslrufh0848jfhhdfh99348347fhdhfdhfk99349hdhfdehfdh999dfhj”
Can you please tell me if I’m the one who made a mistake? Which address do I send the XEM to?

As i wrote, you send the xem to an address, not a public key.
You have a wallet and you can see your address inside that wallet. If you are using the installer, then the browser page after you opened the wallet would look like this:
The address marked by the red rectangle is your address. You have to use that address when transferring from poloniex to your wallet. Somewhere in the Poloniex UI you should be able to specify the address when withdrawing.
That is exactly how I did it, but I got an error message and there are no XEM in my wallet nor in my Poloniex withdraw wallet. I’m afraid to send more as I fear I will get more error messages. What exactly happened here and why can’t I send my XEM, which are now gone, to my own wallet?
I’ve double checked, and the address I entered is correct.

it seems to be a poloniex issue if it says ‘error’ in the withdrawal history …
@blakanskaka: can you please ask the Poloniex support what went wrong? They should know more details.
