The question is simple.
How can i create my own address?
example: NASEY1-0BLABL-ABLA BLA BLA
it would be cool
I want to so much too. Right now the devs are the only ones that can do that.Â
You can't choose the entire address. You can pick a few characters and then brute your way through tons of private keys until one of them corresponds to an address that contains those chars.
Hey folks!
I'm still working on my address generator for real addresses, if someone knows a javascript lib for ed25519 keys which supports sha3 hashing instead of sha512 please let me know.
In the meantime I have created a small bash script to query NIS API for addresses and display those with given pattern.
However i would like to get a comment form the devs if it's safe to publish as it requests tons of addresses form NIS and blows the logs a bit…for me it's working but i guess NIS is not designed for this…
Cheers

Hi Owon. Very cool. I hope we don't have to wait until open source.
Hi guys, here is a link for a NEM vanity generator made released by A Man. http://blockexplore.in/static/nemGenVanity.zip
I haven't tested this on Windows, nor am I sure how to do get it to run, but if you guys can tell me, please leave a comment below.
If you are on a Mac, please unzip to your desktop.
Then open a terminal window and type: cd Desktop/nemGenVanity
and then type: java genacc
It will ask you for a target. To test write a three letter word and press enter. It should find it pretty quickly.Â
Please keep your key safe, and please donate to A Man if you like his hard work. NAU5O2-TNS7N4-WB5TKZ-SYSAQF-VWBVYU-3Q7FUC-KERB
