Created wallet with nanowallet. Can't open it with standalone because missing address book

I have a wallet made on the nano wallet interface. I’m trying to open it from the stand alone interface. I don’t have an address book, and it’s preventing me from doing so.

I already tried making a new wallet with same name and password (the name is “nem wallet”), and replacing the new .wlt file with my old one but I keep getting the error

ERROR 103
NIS: WALLET COULD NOT BE READ

The wallet still works when I open it on the nano wallet interface

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Nanowallet “.wlt” is not compatible with NCC “.wlt” format. You can go from NCC to nano wallet via exporting in NCC, but not Nanowallet to NCC.

NCC is deprecated and should not be used.

Alright! so if I want to run a NEM node and harvest, I should not use the NCC? what should I do?

Thanks

No you should not use NCC, Nanowallet can do everything NCC can do, just use Nanowallet.
