im wondering if it will be possible to use the "create real account data" function with out having to log into a wallet? at the moment you need to be connected to the internet to get into a wallet to create the data, but the ncc welcome screen runs fine a long with the settings etc with out being connected. would it be possible to have the create real account data function available on the welcome screen so that we dont have to connect to the internet in order to generate new account data? this would make it easier and safer to create cold storage accounts that have never been online as we can just bring ncc on a usb to an air gapped computer, run it, create the data, save the details and close it down again, then move to an online computer and send to your new cold storage account.
I don't think you need to be connected to the internet. You need a NIS running but it doesn't need to be synched.
