then what will ppl do with mosaic assets? any built-in exchange to help buy/sell or distribute them? like nxt or bts did in their system?

Mosaics can be transfered just like XEM can (xem.xem being a mosaic itself). Any service/business can build any use case with the features that are in right now (allthough trust is required). I’m guessing that was the priority and a marketplace i.e. buy-/sell-orders were simply out of scope for the initial release.
I completely agree that a marketplace is something that would be great to have and not having one is definitely making some things way more cumbersome.
I understand a marketplace is also not a priority in the near future so don’t hold your breath.
I mean we’ll se what people are demanding (people that wanna build cool stuff on the blockchain not the mob that hangs out on btt) but doing it right later is definitely better than just copying the existing marketplaces in terms of features and functionalities (they are anything but perfect, lacking in features and make scaming childs play).
Where are mosaics stored? I built a new machine and moved the wallet. However I no longer have a mosaic.
