Delegate Harvesting and Super Nodes

Could someone please explain how Harvesting and Super Nodes work? Also what are the requirements that I need for each? I been racking up some XEM’s and I just came across an article about harvesting and super nodes and I would like to get some info from users that are currently using these features. Thank you very much!!!

Hello,
For harvesting you need 10 000 XEM Vested balance (about vesting you can read here http://nem-tools.com/#/calculator) and for supernode you need 3 000 000 XEM.
If you are harvester with vested balance ~17k XEM like me your income will be not to high. Probably you get 1-2 blocks per month. In these blocks of course you can find from 0 up to couple hundred XEM fee. Fees in block all sum of all transactions fees which are in this block.

How do I start, get 10k XEM, can you vocalize the means of what vested is?
I completely couldn’t absorb the information and I’d really like to comprehend it.
What do i look and go into(click) and why, (the purpose).
I deeply appreciate if you can.

Here is a good resource when it comes to harvesting: https://docs.nem.io/en/nanowallet/delegated-harvesting

@Saul Dearest Saul Grey,
I have 10k in my account but it only vested 10% of what I have on my account,

I am on step Start / Stop

Now that the “Remote status” is active you need to wait until “Vested balance” (right next to “Remote status”) shows at least 10’000 XEM.

I do not know how to get to the 10k vested,
I am sorry to ask but I just feel like I did something wrong.

you vest 10% a day. If you have exactly 10,000 XEM, you will never be able to harvest, you need slightly more than 10,000XEM. Even 10,001 XEM would work, if you have the patience.

yep, i got 10003, I NEED MORE but thank you.

Here is calculator: http://nem-tools.com/#/calculator

Where is the cheapest NEM?

Isn’t 10 000 XEM like an enormous amount rightnow, atleast for me (A student) with an worth of 1XEM=€1,48571 that is 14857.00 just for starting… I personnaly think that when the value stays above €1,3 per XEM it should be at a maximum of 1000 XEM to start harvesting…

I don’t know where is cheapest. Price is dynamic. Probably cheapest option is use exchange and wait for deep.

Right now there is no plan to change this limit.

Dearest Pawel,

I am curious upon 2 things that I am not understanding due to my lack of experience in this field as of now.

May you explain wait for deep?

And may you go in depth on “no plan to change this limit”? What limit and what are the guidelines to making limits?

Limit for harvesting and supernode.
Both are defined in technical reference :
