Hi, I’m hoping someone with a stronger understanding of the underlying mathematics used to calculate an accounts Importance Score can answer this question.
Would a single large account be more likely to harvest blocks more frequently then taking the balance of that account and dividing it between smaller accounts?
Example: Single large account with over 100,000 Xem vs dividing that 100,000 into 10 accounts of 10,000 Assume that a large additional amount is temporarily added to each account so that the 10k vests quickly. Also that there are extremely infrequent transactions to the large account consisting primarily of deposits.
From https://blog.nem.io/how-do-i-get-importance-on-the-nem-blockchain/ there are several final factors that determine one’s importance score including:
Total Vested Amount of XEM
Math-ified (temporally weighted) Net XEM
NCDawareRank Score
Various Algorithms
What I’m trying to determine is if the weight of the Total Vested Nem & these other factors favor the single larger account or if the cumulative opportunities for harvesting between all the smaller accounts would outweigh the larger account
If anyone can answer this, thank you very much.
