Delegated Harvesting on Multisig

Hello, Hello dev's,


it's not possible to send activated or deactivated delegated harvesting TX for a Multisig account. At least from regular NCC.
Anyway I activated delegated harvesting before making account a multisig (NAOSSJ-EN4LJS-3VBAYP-UMFYA3-HX2K4H-72VOUL-K7PN).

So my questions are:

What do the network think about a multisig account which has delegated harvesting enabled?
Which account has POI value? -> multisig acc or remote acc of multisig acc ?

Will de/activating of harvesting for multisig become a feature in next release ? (Is it possible vie NIS API already?)
If not why not deactivating delegated harvesting in case a account is converted to multisig ?

Delegated harvesting cannot be enabled from a multisig account because that is a transaction. A multisig account cannot send a transaction.


That's not actually true, you should be able to make importance-transfer multisig transaction. (not from within ncc)

so basically delegated harvesting can be activated or deactivated via NIS just fine, it is just that button hasn't been put on the wallet yet.

a) Is it possible to activate / deactivate the delegated harvesting for a Multisig account now?
b) Whether it (‘a’) will possible soon? In NCC, in Nanowallet.
c) Is it possible to use a Multisig account for a Supernode now?
d) Whether it (‘c’) will possible soon?

Not yet. I don’t tried :slight_smile: . I had hoped to get quick answer before.

UPD. Common answer ‘no’:

  • In Nanowallet option ‘Services > Delegated Harvesting > Manage delegated account of multisignature accounts’ is not available yet.
  • In NCC only normal transfer multisig transaction is available, not importance-transfer multisig transaction.
