Hi, I’ve enabled delegated harvesting on my main account following a tutorial, however, I’m a bit unsure at one of the steps. I’ve waited 6 hours, all fine, then found an IP of a public node local to me on nodeexplorer.com. Added the remote public node server IP address by going into settings, then in the host section added the IP, then clicked save, then started delegated harvesting. Is this the correct way? I’m not going to give my main account private key away to the remote public server?
If there was no error message when clicking on “start delegated harvesting” (like that the harvesting limit was reached) then everything is fine i think.
No, that is why you activated delegated harvesting. Your main account is safe.
