Difference between NIS and Symbol node

Hi,

What is the difference between the NIS node and the symbol node? How to choose which is correct for me?

NIS node is the node of the NEM blockchain (XEM),
Symbol node is the node of the Symbol blockchain (XYM).

I think “NIS” comes from “NEM Infrastructure Server”.
Symbol needs the “Catapult Server”.
Catapult is the development codename of Symbol Blockchain.
