Difference betweenNEM wallet address with "-" and without

What’s the difference between a wallet address without the “-” and with the "-"
example:

NVIT-ALS2-OP4F-2DF2-S2F6-1234
NVITALS2OP4F2DF2S2F61234

What’s the difference between these two addresses? let’s say I sent some coins into one of these two examples would I still receive it in the other one? the information would be very much appreciated.

There is no difference. In communication with NIS API always is used address without dashes.
Dashes are only for readability.
If you use it on exchange better is use without dashes because not allways exchanges handle this signs.
When you use nanowallet or other NEM official wallets it’s no difference (dashes are removed for you).
