Doing an ICO with NEM

Hi

I’m starting an ICO and I want to use NEM. Since most ICOs are done using ETH since it’s the most popular I’m wondering how does it go with NEM?

  • If someone wants to invest with BTC or ETH, can NEM accept it?
  • person who wants to invest, does he needs to have NEM wallet to receive my tokens?
  • moisaics are actually tokens as I can understand? So investor will get my mosaic tokens in NEM wallet?
  • NEM is different from ETH, so NEM is not ERC20?

1.nem can’t accept other crypto, like none of crypto can. But you can achieve it manually, like it was on dimcoin ico - investor buys your token with btc, sends an email to you with tx and you are sending him back your tokens.

yes, He will need to have a NEM Address to receive your tokens or shares, if they want to invest BTC just have them send BTC to your BTC wallet, the record of the BTC transaction can be backed up with a message sent from the nano to the token receiver address, of the hash of the BTC payment and also a link to any legal documents or agreements you have with the investor can be included in the message and can also be sent encrypted.

you’re talking about toyota vs rolls royce. you want half assed coded blockchain with holes a plenty? or do you want iron clad security. you’re going to get what you pay for. however, if youre going to run an ico with the notion of exit scamming in mind. dont bother. once comsa gets up and running. there will be 0% chance of fraud ever occurring.
