Hello, I’m running the client on a Mac, trying to import an existing account. But…

ERROR 500
NIS: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: org.apache.commons.codec.DecoderException: Illegal hexadecimal character j at index 0

what does that mean??

I hope you can help.

The “import existing account” menu item expects a private key hex string, only 0-9 and a-f are allowed. How come your “private key” has a j as first character?

that is what KeePassX tells me I used when creating NCFIMP-MCZVLT-AKRMMF-YCNX3W-4MNRQK-SGHTSZ-ERTU.

sorry but a ‘j’ can never be in a private key, there must have been something gone wrong.
