Exchangers And Their Problems with NEM XEM

Im just worried why all Exchangers are frustrating NEM investors by not crediting their balance. This is not good for NEM as it might discourage investors from NEM. I urge NEM to work on this with the exchangers in order to find solution to this. Most of the complaints on most of the popular exchangers are related to NEM deposit and withdrawal. It will be good now if NEM Admin would contact all exchangers to know their challenges and find a way to solve it.

Please consider Poloniex and others as they carry more of your coin investors.

Not all (I don’t notice problem with Bittrex for example) but for sure couple exchanges (Cryptopia,
Yobit, Poloniex, Changelly) had or have problems with XEM wallet.

What we need is IMO:

  • Have direct contact with exchange to report not working XEM wallet and get information when it will be fixed.
  • (Maybe?) we should also give exchanges information about current minimal requirements to run node.

Last weeks we have more transactions and for sure node required more memory to run stable. If 0.6.95 is more stable we should ask exchanges to update node version.

It will be great if NEM will consider doing your above listed follow up with the exchangers especially your second suggestion on giving the exchangers the requirement of running node.

Please I advice you act on this promptly to avoid further delay and disappointment in NEM coin Deposit and withdrawal.

I think there are different problems happening. The vast majority of problems are actually user errors i.e. forgetting a message (which is a requirement by exchanges not nem) or not using their wallet right and thinking they haven’t been credited.
Secondly some exchanges actually had problems but that again has nothing to do with nem. The network was fine and nothing has changed in the last months hence there are no new challenges. In fact in the last days only cryptopia seems to have been having issues. Everything else was always user error.

There is no issue specific to nem, period.
