Fiat-pegged mosaics?

This was taken in a bar, in a University Department. I only knew PaySafeCard before, not ukash. Some friends use it to buy online stuff, like games, etc. I never used it, but as it seems, it’s very popular. This company and probably also ukash have to receive money from users, keep track of the credit they have for hours/days/weeks and eventually transfer that money to a destination that claims it, when it gets spent. The intermidiary - one of these companies - takes a cut for the service. They facilitate payments with safety and low costs, for users who cannot or would not use credit cards.

Could the record keeping and the tx benefit from a blockchain? But this would need some kind of pegged asset, because there can be many days between users topping up their cards and the spending. The value at the end must be guaranteed. Bitshares already has this, and this project maker DAO wants to do the same using Ethereum.

Using the lite wallet and the upcoming Crypto Apex, what about adding pegged assets and tools to make it easy for these kind of companies to switch to NEM? They already have the systems in place in different countries to easily receive money from customers… they need a simple way to convert it to XEM, keep it safe, and automatically process transfers to the receiver.
