Finally got the Android update and... Frozen

Updated my Symbol wallet with the new release so I could log in and check out my sweet sweet airdrop goodness. First time I ran it, it just said it was setting up my wallet on an animated screen until my phone ran out of juice. Recharged and plugged in my phone. Re-ran the wallet. It asked for my PIN and now it just sits there doing nothing after I enter my PIN. It doesn’t freeze my entire phone but I can’t delete numbers or get the app to do anything. Starting to wonder if this is worth my time.

If you are using the ios wallet, this problem does occur, because the ios wallet is not the latest version, it is only a beta version, I also encountered this problem, you can completely exit the wallet and open it again to enter your wallet

I’m using the Android wallet. I’ve exited and restarted it at least 20 times and it just wont leave the screen where you enter your pin. I tried letting it sit for hours. I checked for app updates and none. I would reinstall it but I’m afraid that it will make me lose credit for the airdrop.

Hello. Have you mnemonic (24 words) backup?

To get the airdrop, you had to install the NEM/XEM wallet and deposit coins into it. Then you had to download the SYMBOL wallet and go through the opt-in procedure. After the opt-in, it just said to update the app and wait. I updated the app and it doesnt load passed the pin entering screen. It just freezes. I hadn’t even generated a wallet or given a mnemonic phrase yet. I tried to download the desktop apps for both and do it that way, it didn’t work. As it stands, I’m abandoning all support for this project. I will be selling my coin and moving to a project that is more supporter friendly.

When you created mobile wallet app asked you to do backup:

Have you it?
