See the video tutorial here if you don’t have an NEM wallet yet:

If you already have an existing NEM wallet, you just need to copy your wallet address and send it as a message to the Official NEM WeChat account (ID: nemxem) and you will get the free XEM. It worked for me this way. :slight_smile:

I have just bought some NEM recently and I believe it has a lot of potential to grow! :smiley:

For me, Step 6 did not happen and I tried this many times. Step 6 screen consists of with some black blue and red chinese lettering, plus a check box. The check box then highlights a blue box with 2 chinese characters. Then if you don’t understand chinese you can go all over the place; except when you are supposed to go. Good Lunk … I gave up.

While I am an investor in NEM. I do not find NEM all that user friendly, or their wallets overly friendly.

Well WeChat airdrop is over. If you have some improvements proposals for official wallets (nanowallet, mobile wallets) of course you can report it :slight_smile:

I guess I played with it too long. I hate wasting time. Well thanks for you reply, but the video was still wrong. Little errors like this turn people off. I was a programming consultant for many years. I worked best when I worked with business analysts as their view could be closer to what a novice is expected to understand.

Oh I understand. I keep folow with video and have no problems but maybe you have right.
This airdrop was prepared by NEM Chaina to promote NEM Wallet for Wechat users. Wechat is application used by Chinese people.
