Hello NEMsters :slight_smile:

As we have said several times, along with our great dev team, the marketing team has been working in the background to coordinate and prepare some great stuff for NEM. Well, now is the time when we'll share some of that great stuff.

This is the 1st announcement we're going to make in a series of 3.

So here it is: together with Loi(our designer) and Crackhead, we have been working on a brand new website, a brand new forum theme and a great NEM branding package.

We will be unveiling all 3 of those tomorrow in order to receive some feedback from the community before the implementation will be final.

Stay tuned as we'll post all of them here.

Its has been a very long way until now.

I read the NEM branding guide and I don't understand where the font "Roboto" is used…

And on page 8 I don't see the missuse.

I read the NEM branding guide and I don't understand where the font "Roboto" is used...

I believe you have to pay for Mark Bold and Roboto is free and could be use for the web.

Appreciate the hard work & sure it will go down well.  Prefer this colour scheme myself but the new one is certainly cleaner & more modern looking (for now!).  I'm finding everything a bit over-bright and low contrast on the new forum though - I realise the green is to match the logo but i just think it will have to be same hue but twice as dark or something, really struggling to read it at the moment.

Agree that the forum is a bit bright. It reminds me of Yosemite OS and particularly the recent rollout of Evernote 6.0. Does anyone here use Evernote ? The recent Mac release caused a lot of negative reaction dues to the lack of color and opt for translucence.

I love the website.  It is sooooo refreshing to have such a clean and respectable website to send people to.

The branding guide is much needed and very useful and also very well put together.

As for the forum, I will jump in and also say that at a minimum the green needs to be darker.  At least as dark as the outline dark green color as the mono-color green NEM symbol used as a wall paper at the top of the page. 

But also secondly the background color shouldn't be so bright. 

I also noticed that a tab on the forum called "downloads" has been added and I think that was an awesome idea.  Some coins just don't have a clear place to get downloads from.  All other websites that have a "download" link should point to the forum's download page if you ask me. 

I noticed that some of the other tabs weren't on the forum page but I am guessing they will be later.  Basically I vote to keep the "search, messages, profile, all unread posts, and members" tabs all be kept on the new forum.  In addition to "all unread posts" tab, I think a "replies to my posts" tab would be nice too.
