Great stuff is here (2)

Hello again NEMsters

In addition to the new Website, new Forum theme and great branding package we have put serious effort into contacting exchanges and establishing a good relationship with them even before NEM has been launched.

As it stands now we have contacted 25+ exchanges and got a deal with 4 exchanges which have agreed to list NEM at launch or right after that.

NEM has not been integrated yet but these agreements were made in good faith. We hope we can successfully conclude the deals and are looking forward to start integration during the following days.

Here are the exchanges which have agreed to list us:

    [li]BTER[/li]
    [li]BTC38[/li]
    [li]POLONIEX[/li]
    [li]BITTREX[/li]

Remember, this is only the beginning and a lot of other such deals could come.

P.S. See you on Friday when we'll share some more great stuff.

P.P.S. Sorry for being late(I take the blame for it), as I am out of office and could barely find any internet.

Any idea how long it will take to not be released in an official way?

Could you rephrase that question please? :)

The time will come when the exchanges contact us

Nice! I had good experiences with all of them!

Looking forward to the 3rd announcement!

awesome work. Very impressed. I sincerely hope your efforts do not go unnoticed by the crypto community on a whole

This will be one of the best launches of any coin!

Was MGW one of the 25+ exchanges? I don't want to buy or trade nem on a central exchange.

we can add multigateway ourselves but the devs just dont have time to do that. at least not until after launch.

that is in my plans lol, I want to DECENTRALIZED ALL THE THINGS

If our MGW is supposed to be fully decentralized then we have a lot more homework todo :)
If we could comeup with fully decentralized MGW and ITX implementations it'd be absurdly awesome.

I dont think we should underestimate the demand for decentralized exchanges. if there's one thing to learn from mt gox, its this.

exchanges now make people nervous, especially those outside the crypto communities

I think decentralized exchanges are the way forward; not just for crytpo but for all financial assets of all kinds.  Stocks, titles, currencies…

What's needed? Who can help?

we need a dev who can set up multigateway and know how to manually fix any backlogs of transactions if there are any and we need 3 very VERY trusted people to run the servers.

i would love to put together a team to get this done actually.

According to this architecture, we don't need to set up our own servers. Unless you don't trust the supernet nodes that are already running.
IMO we need to integrate or link the NCC with the supernet nodes.
Comments?

Joining supernet and setting up our own multigateway are two very different things… And no matter how trust worthy James/supernet is I would prefer nem multigateway servers be under nems control.

Ah, so the goal is to use uMGW and set up a server triplet for NEM. So we need to:

[li]work with james to get uMGW to support NEM, which is not the case yet i believe.[/li]
[li]look for three thrustworthy volunteers to host a NEM MGW server.[/li]
[li]Create a mgwNEM asset on the NXT AE[/li]
[li]Work on a config to get the servers working[/li]

    Correct?

Correct except from the part about  working with James… I don't
Think any input from James is needed… The whole point is so that other coins can take multigateway and set up their own with out James help.

NEM is not supported (Edit: yet):

No reaction here, but today I noticed NEM in development on http://www.supernet.org/

Who's involved?
