Shouldn't NEM SW decelopment have an easier way to collect user feedback ?  The common users will not want (I guess) to register to many sites. As it has been seen with NEM stake reservations.

Even a dedicated thread in forum(s) would help; just use a certain keyword in the posting - it would make it easier for devs to find them.)
Or sending NEMs in test network to certain address or just email ...

+1

Maybe a feature (feedback form) in the software could be added to
report bugs directly from the NCC to the developers.
This could then be used to automatically collect NCC and NIS system info
like screen resolution browser version + NIS data + OS system version + user feedback and send to predefined web service or email address so the developers will have more details when a bug is reported and also the users won't have to write down ,and usually they don't do it, all that data that could be atomaticaly collected.

When software is made for masses of people, it is good to be prepared for feedback of all kind of people.
Therefore the feedback system should be such that the threshold to use it is very low.  < edited ... away :) >

As freigeist suggested the easiest way would be a menu command in the NCC: "Send feedback" or such, both errors and praises.
Of course that would need more implementation, and testing, and error database. Meaning TIME....    maybe the time is not renewable nature resource in the premises of the dev team :)

So... what would be other alternatives?
github or
email (email address in NCC's About/Help dialog) or
forum thread (site address in NCC's About/Help dialog) or ...
?

[s]I'll do it.[/s]
somebody already did.

A very good idea.

Hi

I have a open issue in GUI, anyone else have that problem?
Until when can I redeem NEMstake? While not find the problem here, I can not create a real account.  :frowning:

When you paste a wrong NEM address it does not tell you whats wrong when you try to send the nem.

When the fee is reduced to 0 and you send the transaction the fee is added anyway instead of reporting an error.
This takes away funds from the user that he did not allow.

yes, the fee is changed without that the user can be sure about it. And it is not shown in the SendConfirmation note.
