Guide to moving OSX wallet to Windows Wallet

info code 602
NIS: NODE LOADING DB

This is the error I get after copying the files from OSX into Windows.

I moved the .adb file and the .wlt file over, Was there another file I needed to move from my OSX to the NEm/NCC folder?

Thanks in advance

I am not sure but why dont you make new wallet and just transfer funds there - multiple wallets were supported - i have same similar setup btw
…or are you justtrying to move wallets for testing like that?

because, I am not sure but I think windows doesnt support straight Mac-files - thats the reason why there is mac-download and windows-download?

…there is also option -’‘add existing account’’ which i would probably and most definetly try

it is very easy. you take your wallet and address book file out of your NCC file in Mac, and then drop them in your NCC file of Windows.

Please be sure to back up your keys always.

Here is a guide with step by step instructions. http://blog.nem.io/how-to-find-export-or-delete-your-wallet-and-address-book-file/

Please let us know if it worked for you.

I did move the correct to files to the correct folder in windows though… I could see the first wallet I made and also I could select the wallet that was from the MAC. And the password unlocked it but I am still getting that error I posted initially.

I guess I could just make a new wallet, but I wanted to avoid setting up harvesting again is all :slightly_smiling:

Anyway Ill sort it out as I can have my windows machine running 24/7 but not the MAC.

THanks for the support and replies

Hmmmm. It can sometime take a minute for the database to load.

That isn’t related to the wallet though.

If you can get a new and empty wallet going on that machine and then you drop in your existing wallet, then after a refresh you should see it and and be able to open it too.
