Harvesting error at unlocking account -- need help

Harvesting Error help needed
Hi all wondering if you can help - delegated harvest has been working, however today I’m getting this error when trying to connect to a node - Error at unlocking account, reason: blocking private key request with non-configured address

What do I need to do? Can anyone help

Since I am going to sleep now, I can not follow up to the end, but first try changing the NIS server I am referring to.
If the problem still persists, please write again.

thanks

can you tell me how to change the NIS server. Sorry – I do not see an option for this. I am not using my own node. I have just connected through nano wallet to available nodes.

To change the NIS server, click “node” at the top of the screen of NanoWallet.
There is a pull-down menu called “Node list”, so select a different server.
First of all, please make this change and check whether the problem is resolved.

If this does not work, please tell me your NEM address and Remote Account address.
We will conduct a detailed survey.

thanks

I got it figured out. Apparently there was a Nanowallet upgrade that I
needed to do. Then deactivate my harvesting account and then reactivate
it. That seems to have solved it.
If anyone else is having this problem please do the following:
save the wallet file – go to Account at the top – near the bottom of the
right hand side – click backup wallet. Then chose the wallet to save.
Then hit save. your computer probably saved it in your download file –
make sure you know where it is before you go further.

You might also want to save your Private key somewhere safe just incase you
need that for anything. I did not need it for this but if something
happens you might need that also. To do this go into the account page
again. at the top right it says private key. Imput your password then
click the + sign. Then your key should be visible. Copy it and save it
somewhere secure and safe.

Then exit out of the old nanowallet version. Then you can hit purge
accounts – if you have saved both the wallet file and your private ey.

Now remove any icons from your desktop so you do not continue to use this
nanowallet – you can also delete it if you wish I kept mine until I was
sure the new version installed and worked properly.

Now download and install the new nanowallet from here
https://nem.io/downloads/

Then chose import wallet. When it asks you what wallet -go to where your
computer saved the wallet file. probably in your downloads folder.

Then the new nanowallet should work just like the old one.
go to your wallet – input your password.
Go into services - manage delegated account - then on the left side change
select mode to deactivate. type in your pssword and then click send. Wait
6 hours – then go back into manage delegate account - change select mode
to active. wait 6 hours.
Then go back in and set up your node to harvest on.

Wow. So simple, like everything else about NEM and harvesting .

Thanks, I hit the same error this evening. I appreciate a user reply.

It mystifies me why a company with a $2B market cap cannot manage to write decent up-to-date guides.

Note: Your harvesting chance will be the same for both methods.

OMG, a link to another incomplete and not so helpful and out of date blog posting that I’ve read several times before.

If it is true that my harvesting chance is the same under both, that is helpful information so thank you for that.
