Haven't logged in in 2 years, now I can't seem to at all

Hi, I’ve searched the forums on and off for a couple weeks looking for a solution. This is the account: http://chain.nem.ninja/#/search/NDSVPW-XK2HMK-DQIPYU-SFB7ER-4HE4TJ-G25GXS-FX6S

I’ve used the NEM wallet during times where you only needed a password to log in to a webwallet, and can’t recall if I backed anything up(also cant find nem files on my pc). I do remember my password still but that does not seem to help me log in. Is there anything I can do?

You need the wallet file and the password or the priavte key.
Try to search for the wallet files again, on a windows computer they should be in the folder
c:\users\ < your user > \nem\ncc

I’ve had several OS changes since then and can’t find a nem folder. Honestly, the way it was set up I did not think the web wallet would store any files on my pc. I have many other coins and back ups of their wallets but did not think I’d need it for nem.

Sorry, but then there is nothing we can do for you

Are there any other file extensions I could search for? I’ve searched for .wlt and .dat but nothing came up. I feel like such a noob but am I really the only person who has nem from a long time ago and now has a new OS? Would this problem have occured if the webwallet was not changed?

Relevant files have extensions .wlt and .adb

idk

Has nothing to do with a changing webwallet, only with missing files (which probably got lost during OS switch).

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. Much appreciated.

Wow. You are “lucky” that you lose “only” 849 xem because 2 years ago you have over 2.5mln.
Sorry for you lost anyway

Yeah, I remember being so happy because the price hit 80 sat  but if I held and sold it in March this year around its peak for 400+ btc and then sold the btc this month around 18k usd… Shoulda coulda woulda, maybe a parallel universe version of me now has 7 million dollars worth of crypto. This version would have sold way earlier probably and is still trying to recover the wallet files because I could really use the money.
