That`s your problem. You need a new Java Version. Step one in the Tutorial. http://blog.nem.io/mac-installation-guide-standalone/
should i install Java SE Development Kit 8u112 or Java SE development kit 8u111?
this one please
install Java SE Development Kit 8u112
Thank you guys is working now! Is there a way to import my older wallet?
Also 600 days behind for NIS to synchronize, is there a way to download the blockchain or something to complete sync
sync: just wait for it unless u have a laptop and goto a fat internet to speed it up
yes u can move your wallet from old location
but before doing this make sure you make a backup first ok? study where the wallet is stored and simply move it in there
goodluck!
Kind Regards,
hello, i made a export wallet file, does that mean i made a backup? I just clicked in “export wallet” in settings in the NCC browser. thank you
for me… there’s many ways to backup a NEM wallet—>
make a manual copy of the NEM—> NCC folder in a USB + corresponding
passwords
C:\Users\name\nem\ncc\ ****.wlt (on Windows- should be similar in Mac OS)
make a copy of the account PRIVATE KEY manually in a piece of paper of
an offline USB (saved in a notepad)
what you just did EXPORT Wallet File
IMPORTANT
Test all 3 methods above and see if restoration works…
goodluck bud !
Thank you guys i already imported the .wlt file to the corresponded folder, then i open browser and my wallet username was there and used the same password and there we go wallet imported!
I think that exporting wallet feature is a fine backup method. Right? Thank you very much.
