HELP, my XEM are gone (password doesn't work)

Hello Forum,

I am new here and just created the NEM wallet on my PC.

I wrote down my password for the wallet, but did NOT copy the private key!

After receiving a lot of XEM (>8000), I logged out. After this I tried to get in again with my Password, but this did not work anymore. Also I tried to get in with another username/Password. This only worked once and after that I get the same error message:
Entschuldigung!
FEHLER 124
NIS: ADDRESS BOOK PASSWORD INCORRECT

Another user in this Forum had the same Problem, but he copied the private key.

Also I tried to get in with the NEM NANO wallet, but this program asked for my existing wallet.

I am desperate right now and I’m afraid this is my first and last contact with this Forum (and NEM).

Can anybody help me? I would give a reward for the correct advice to solve my Problem.

Have you tried importing existing wallet into nano?

Your existing wallet would be in : C:\Users<your username>\nem\ncc .wlt file

Thanks suky321 for your reaction (early in the morning in Germany), but I am so happy. I just tried and tried all variations of my Password and all of a sudden the Money was back!

But your advice to Import the wallet into the Nanowallet is very good, will do in the future.

For now my Problem is solved, have a good sunday to all. I’m happy to see that XEM is up for the night…
