Same old BS with nem going back to the earliest versions. I load up the program and get 'loading blaocks from db at block 14500 (at block 14500). yet gives me the message NIS is not synced, and these numbers do not move, nor will it sync.
What am I supposed to do to get the wallet to sync please??
You are hopefully using version 0.6.77?
Easiest way to get you going is if you can supply the NIS logs. On a windows system the logs are in the folder
c:\users\< your_user >\nem\nis\logs
Hi, thanks for the help, it has sorted itself out now, required a restart several times then just worked, I don’t know why it has always done that. Yes i was using the latest client.
Try chrome – I have nothing but trouble with MS Edge if that’s what you’re using.
Hi thanks, I was using edge actually, not by choice but because it comes up by default. Edge has to be the worst browser of all time, it is a joke that they released it with great fanfare as the update to solve all the problems with IE when it is 10x worse. They couldnt have done a worse job if the sabotaged it. What is firefox like?
FF should be fine too – just Edge causing this issue. Simply open FF, IE, or Chrome and plug in http://127.0.0.1:8989/ once NIS is launched
