Nano Wallet is difficult for us old guys to set up. What is a WLT file and how do I save one?
I am on the final steps. When I click the WLT file it does not open. My computer asks me which app I want to use to open the file but I do not have any apps that can open it. Which app do I need?
Also, how can I save text file as wlt?
The WLT file is a file describing wallet information in the NanoWallet.
This file contains important information (secret key etc.) encrypted using the password necessary to log in to NanoWallet.
Therefore, in order to create this file, from NanoWallet
We export it as a file in ‘Account -> Backup Wallet’ menu. The file exported at that time will be the file name ‘xxxxx.wlt’.
Conversely, if you use this file to load it into NanoWallet, it reads from ‘Import Wallet’ of ‘Login’ screen.
If you have not created a wlt file from NanoWallet, create it immediately.
