How to locally harvest?

Hi,

I’ve been doing some reading, and I’ve downloaded the nano wallet and transferred some XEM into it. A few questions:

  1. Does it vest automatically?
  2. Will it start to harvest locally automatically?
  3. Does it need to be logged in the whole time? (it keeps logging me out)
  4. How long roughly until it starts to harvest?

  1. Yes, it starts vesting automatically.
  2. No, you have to trigger it.
  3. There’s an option, and safer, to harvest called delegated harvesting. You can find the option under Service at NanoWallet.
  4. When you “Start harvesting”, it takes around 6 hours to start.

I’ve just initiated a delegated harvest… I’ll check back in 6 hours or so.
