How to recover NEM nano wallet beta 1.3.4 after ungraceful desktop shutdown?

I successfully setup and began harvesting blocks of NEM for the past couple of months. I recently found my computer unplugged so it ran out of power and shutdown ungraciously in the midst of harvesting NEM. When I powered my computer back on and logged into my desktop nano wallet beta 1.3.4, I found that it was entirely empty and shows no balance of NEM. Starting to freak out right about now!

I am basically going into the my NanoWallet and clicking start.html and logging into it to find no balance. It’s also not connected to the node anymore.
Potentially good news: I backed up the wallet previously (blah.wlt file) and have the private key and password to access the wallet.

Is there anything I could do to restore/resync my wallet on my laptop to its former functioning state, which reflects my current balance and allows me to continue harvesting again?

Hello Pp, thank you for your post. A similar thing happened to me with my account having no balance any more with all the coins I transfered from an exchange platform. Unlike you I didn’t make any back up yet, cause I didn’t know how to do. I’d certainly would like to get my NEMs back.

you probably need so select another node to connect to, for that: after you login, hit the Node button and select another node.
